Extremely knowledgeable and knows what she is speaking about. Asked all the right questions. She is a doctor who cares. She is precice, writes down every word you tell her. She is fatanstic at following up. My adult son is thrilled she is now his doctor as well as me. All positives!

Dr Klemperer was very understanding, empathetic and thorough in assessing me. She ensured she understood the context of my problems very well and was highly sensitive to my distress which helped me talk openly. She reviewed my medication and ensured I had the appropriate medicine for my short term as well as long term distress. I felt completely at ease, looked after and contained by her. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Dr Klemperer.

I found that in the short amount of time I've had with Dr Klemperer she was able to understand my situation extremely well and has already helped me progress toward improving my situation after one session.

I have seen Dr Klemperer twice now and in both instances she has been very empathetic and listened to all of my concerns with compassion. She is very practical in her approach and offers very sound advice and treatment plans that take your own views onboard.

Specialises in

  • Psychiatry

Profile

I studied medicine at Cambridge University and Guy’s Hospital, London.

I trained in psychiatry at Guy’s Hospital, where I conducted award-winning research, publishing in the British Medical Journal and the British Journal of Psychiatry.

In addition, I hold the Institute of Psychiatry's qualification in cognitive behavioural therapy, a field in which I am recognised by the Royal College of Psychiatrists as having special expertise. This combined knowledge of psychiatry and psychotherapy allows me to make comprehensive assessments of my patients’ life difficulties.

I have worked as a consultant psychiatrist in London and Brussels, with over 20 years experience as a consultant in general adult psychiatry.

I practice in the NHS in Westminster and in Kensington and Chelsea, am an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College and have an independent practice.

I aim always to collaborate closely with my patients to properly understand their particular situation and to actively work with them to develop the most appropriate and effective long-term therapeutic plan.
